Synopsis
Legend has it that there are three magical people that come to your house at night,
while you sleep, and leave something wonderful. One of these is the Toothfairie.
Where does she live? What does she do with all those baby teeth? Who helps her
find, and keep, all those beautiful teeth?
Her job is huge, and she needs someone who will stay quiet while we sleep. Who,
better than Mr. Butterfly, can help the Toothfairie teach precocious little Emma
that keeping her teeth clean will make the Toothfairie's radiant smile light up
her room? He makes a great strong, silent type in his high-top tennis shoes, flying
scarf, and goggles!
Is a great tasting mouth, and beautiful teeth Emma's true reward? Find out in
"The Story of the Toothfairie'! Written by Jamie Williams, and beautifully illustrated
by Kev Brockschmidt.
This is a delightful story about a little girl and the Toothfairie. The illustrations are vibrant and the characters, although make believe, are warm and trusting.
Everyone knows who the Toothfairie is and what she does, but not where she lives and if she has help with her huge job. The origin of the Toothfairie is very interesting but, whether it's legend, history or fairy tale she has been helping dentists, parents and children brush their teethertoothers for centuries. She is non religious and she is practiced in five countries.
No matter how you spell her name; Tooth Fairy, Toothfairy, Tooth Fairie or Toothfairie kids love her. Over the years kids of all ages have been using their imaginations in stories, illustrations and pictures of this sweet character. The Toothfairie's legacy is beautiful, healthy teeth and a great smile. That's something to celebrate right?
